The Allan Labor Government is ensuring every Victorian student has access to the best facilities by helping low fee independent schools with funding to modernise classrooms and build new infrastructure.
Tom McIntosh today announced Community College Gippsland (CCG) is one of nine successful recipients of the latest round of funding for independent schools across regional and metropolitan Victoria.
The nine independent schools will share $26.2 million to expand and modernise existing facilities or build new schools.
Community College Gippsland will receive $1.89 million to build 5 additional classrooms, an outdoor learning area, and 2 hardcourts for its ECG Secondary College (ECG), Leongatha campus. ECG is the independent secondary school of CCG, providing flexible and supportive education options for students in the region.
These projects are being delivered through the Government’s $450 million Building Fund for Non-Government Schools, which helps schools upgrade and expand their facilities.
