The Allan Labor Government is improving the health and wellbeing of communities across the state, through the allocation of infrastructure funding to 28 Men’s Sheds as part of the latest round of the Men’s Shed Funding Program. 

Member for Eastern Victoria Tom McIntosh today announced that Leongatha and Venus Bay Tarwin Lower & District  Men’s Sheds were among the 28 successful recipients of the Men’s Shed Funding Program. 

Venus Bay Tarwin District and Lower Men’s Shed will get more than 64 thousand dollars, for a 12x5 metre extension to an existing shed. 

Meantime, Leongatha Men’s Shed will receive almost 22 thousand dollars – to purchase and install security screens and solar panels. 

The Allan Labor Government has proudly provided 487 grants to Men’s Sheds since 2015, through an annual $1 million investment.
