The Allan Labor Government is ensuring students in Meeniyan will continue to have access to world-class facilities with maintenance works are carried out at Meeniyan Primary School

Member for Eastern Victoria Tom McIntosh today announced that Meeniyan Primary School would be included in the Planned Maintenance Program (PMP), with funding for high priority maintenance across Victoria’s government school network.

The school will receive $290,813 for the complete rebuild of one ramp, and the partial reconstruction of another.

The PMP provides funding to address high-priority maintenance across Victoria’s government school network.

Works are determined by a rolling facilities evaluation process, which provides up-to-date information on the condition of schools to create a faster and more targeted allocation of funding.

The Labor Government is building and upgrading the Education State so every student can access a great local school and a quality education no matter where they live.
