PENINSULA SPRINGS INTO 2024 WITH TOURISM FEATURE

17 January 2024

Backed by the Allan Labor Government, Visit Victoria will launch a new global tourism marketing campaign this week, shining a light on the Mornington Peninsula.

Member for Eastern Victoria Tom McIntosh MP applauded the tourism campaign, Every bit different, which includes a TV ad featuring the Alba Thermal Springs & Spa – representing the spa and wellbeing offerings available right across the Mornington Peninsula.

The Morning Peninsula offers visitors a place to unwind and relax, with natural springs and peaceful surrounds in close proximity to some of Victoria’s most loved wineries, restaurants and beaches.

Visit Victoria – the State’s tourism and events organisation – will roll out the campaign through TV, print, digital and culturally and linguistically diverse channels including seven different translations of the ad.

On Sunday 14 January as part of day one of the 2024 Australian Open - the Labor Government officially launched the campaign that aims to drive visitation and expenditure to communities across the state.

During the two-week tournament broadcast of the AO, the campaign is expected to reach millions of viewers across the country and around the world.

Showcasing Victoria as a place of incredible diversity, passion and creativity, Every bit different aims to increase visitation and expenditure in Victoria by shining a light on the unique experiences that contribute to our state’s booming tourism sector.

Recent data from Tourism Research Australia showed Victoria’s tourism sector brought in a record $36.9 billion in visitor expenditure in the year ending September 2023.
